We mainly work with breeds such as Pointers, English Setters, and Vizslas, selected for their natural instincts, obedience, endurance, and balanced temperament. Each dog specializes in different small game species such as partridges, ducks, or doves.
Training in Real Hunting Grounds
A key part of their training takes place on Rancho Salvaje’s own hunting lands, in La Pampa and other regions where we operate. There, the dogs become familiar with real environments: open fields, wooded areas, natural lagoons, and rivers. They learn to react to different scents, sounds, and situations, always under the care and supervision of our guides.
During peak season, each dog goes out two to three times a day, with alternating rest periods to prevent overexertion. Their well-being is an absolute priority for us
