terrain (over 200,000 acres), home to an extraordinary range of game including: red stag,
European wild boar, axis deer, fallow deer, blackbuck, water buﬀalo, wild goats, mouflon, rams,
and dama deer.
The red stag rutting season runs from March to April, and can be combined with small game hunting such as dove and pigeon, or even with golden dorado fishing, making this an
even more complete and unforgettable adventure.

Red Stag Hunting

We oﬀer the most iconic regions for Red Stag hunting, from the mountains of southern Argentine Patagonia to northern La Pampa and San Luis, where you can hear the stags’ roars right from the lodge where you’ll be resting.
You can expect to hunt free-range, gold-medal stags scoring from 350 SCI with 12 to 18 points, up to specimens exceeding 750 SCI, with potential for a South American record.

Water Buffalo Hunting

With more than 2,200 pounds (1,000 kilos), the buffalo is the heaviest and most dangerous wild animal in Argentina. Being less than 40 yards (45 meters) is a unique sensation. At Rancho Salvaje Safari we have an open area where you can make an unforgettable hunt. In the early hours of the morning we began to walk, observing the herds and solitary males in search of a huge trophy.

Blackbuck Hunting

The Blackbuck is an animal that weighs between 75 and 120 pounds, and due to its incredible speed and sharp eyesight, it presents a true challenge for any hunter. It primarily lives in open areas, making close approach diﬃcult, although it can occasionally be found in forested zones.
At Rancho Salvaje Safari, we oﬀer access to a vast open field of 88,000 hectares (217,452 acres) in northern La Pampa, where the high density of animals allows you to spot hundreds of Blackbuck constantly. This location also oﬀers excellent opportunities to combine your hunt with other species, making for a dynamic and rewarding experience.
Alternatively, you can choose to hunt closer to Buenos Aires, just 2 hours from the international airport, where we have another free-range property of over 30,000 hectares (74,131 acres).

Axis Deer Hunting

The Axis Deer known in Argentina as ghost of the forest is a deer that weighs an average of 135 pounds, its brown fur with lighter spots make it one of the most beautiful animals in the country. For many hunters, the Axis Deer is one of the most outstanding hunts since its great hearing, visual and stealth make it one of the most difficult animals to hunt. At Rancho Salvaje Safari we have two hunting areas (free ranch) located where the largest populations of Axis Deer in Argentina are found.

Fallow Deer Hunting

Fallow Deer Hunting
At Rancho Salvaje Safari, we oﬀer one of the top hunting areas for Fallow Deer in Argentina.
The abundance of forests and dunes creates an ideal habitat for this species to thrive and develop.
This natural environment not only allows hunters to pursue bronze, silver, and gold medal trophies, but also oﬀers the chance to spot and select trophies in various color phases, including: Spotted (classic pattern), Menil (light brown), Black, and White.
The hunting season begins in early April and runs through the first days of May, making it a great opportunity to track a remarkable trophy in its natural environment.

Wild Board Hunting

The Wild Board was declared a plague in a large part of Argentina thanks to its reproduction and its adaptation to strong environmental changes. At Rancho Salvaje Safari we have a wide variety of hunting areas, one of the best known for the large number of wild pigs is located 2:00 hours from the Ministro Pistarini International Airport. However, our area of La Pampa (Argentine Patagonia) where you can combine different types of hunting (small and big game), there are specimens of Wild Boar with gold medals. Both areas are considered the most important for hunting.

Mouflon Hunting

The mouflon is a wild sheep with an average weight of 130 pounds (60 kg) and usually travel in herds, although solitary males can also be found. The clash of horns between two males fighting is often heard. At Rancho Salvaje Safari, we have a 25,000 acre / 61,776 hectare (free range) area where you can enjoy this beautiful hunt. The hunt begins early in the morning by stalking the animal, and with the help of an expert guide, you can locate different herds of mouflons in search of the best trophy.

Exotic Hunting

Our exotic animals such as wild Ram / Wild Goat / Multi Horned are animals of medium difficulty for hunting, since the large forests of La Pampa (Argentine Patagonia) help them to escape easily. However, they are an excellent option to combine with other hunts since their season is open throughout the year. At Rancho Salvaje Safari we have an area of 25,000 acres / 61,776 hectares (free ranch) in which you can enjoy these beautiful hunts. The hunt begins very early in the morning stalking the animal, thanks to an expert guide you will be able to arrive at the different animals in search of the best trophy.
