THE ULTIMATE BUFFALO EXPERIENCE
FACE ONE OF SOUTH AMERICA’S MOST POWERFUL GIANTS
There are hunts you remember. And there are encounters you never forget.
Welcome to Rancho Salvaje Safari, home to some of Argentina’s largest Water Buffalo. Across more than 60,000 acres of private hunting land, vast dunes, forests, lagoons, and waterholes set the stage for an extraordinary pursuit—where massive bulls, wild landscapes, and close encounters create a hunting experience unlike any other.
Here, world-class trophies meet luxury hospitality and authentic Argentine tradition, creating an adventure that goes far beyond the hunt.
This is where the pursuit of Argentina’s giant begins.
ARGENTINA’S GIANT
HOME TO ARGENTINA’S LARGEST WATER BUFFALO
Weighing well over 2,200 pounds (1,000 kg), the Argentine Water Buffalo is one of the largest and most imposing trophies a hunter can pursue in South America. Mature bulls combine extraordinary mass, heavy sweeping horns, remarkable endurance, and an unmistakable presence that can only be fully appreciated at close range.
Pursuing a trophy Water Buffalo is a demanding experience. These animals are constantly on the move between forests, tall grass, lagoons, and waterholes, requiring hours of tracking, careful observation, and a patient approach to locate the right mature bull.
The final stalk is where the experience becomes unforgettable. Closing the distance on an animal of this size and power creates an intensity few hunts can match—and makes a mature Argentine Water Buffalo a remarkable addition to any international trophy collection.
