AN EXPERIENCE TAILORED TO YOU
All of our itineraries are fully customizable according to each group’s preferences, the species they wish to hunt, flight connections, and any additional activities they would like to include during their stay.
Commercial flights between Buenos Aires and Santa Rosa, La Pampa, are currently subject to Aerolíneas Argentinas’ schedule. For this reason, many guests choose to spend one night in Buenos Aires, enjoying some of the city’s finest restaurants and attractions before continuing to the lodge.
We also offer the option of traveling directly by private ground transportation or arranging a charter flight to our private airstrip.
THE ITINERARY
DAY 1
Arrival in Argentina and Transfer to the Lodge
Personalized reception at Ezeiza International Airport. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a domestic flight to Santa Rosa that same day or spend the night in Buenos Aires and travel to Santa Rosa the following day.
Upon arrival in Santa Rosa, you will be transferred by private vehicle to La Paloma Lodge, located approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from the airport. At the end of the day, you will enjoy a gourmet welcome dinner and a complete briefing on your hunting program.
DAY 2 - 7
Hunting Days
Each day begins with a full breakfast before departing for the hunting areas, generally located 30 to 40 minutes from the lodge and accessed by 4x4 vehicles or boats, depending on the selected location.
In the morning, you will enjoy duck hunting in carefully selected lagoons, rivers, and flooded fields. Afterward, you will return to the lodge for lunch, relaxation, and preparation for the afternoon hunt, which may include doves, pigeons, perdiz over trained dogs, or forest perdiz.
Each evening concludes with a chef-prepared dinner, premium beverages, and unforgettable moments sharing the day’s hunting stories by the fire.
DAY 8
Final Hunt and Departure
Breakfast followed by a final morning duck hunt. After the hunt, private transportation will be provided to Ezeiza International Airport, Santa Rosa Airport, or your selected hotel in Buenos Aires, depending on your group’s departure itinerary.

The duck hunting season in Argentina begins in May, coinciding with the arrival of the first cold winds of the year, and extends until August.
Throughout these months, duck hunting is balanced, although the presence of different species may vary depending on the month. Depending on the time of year, hunters may observe a greater number of ducks from one species than another.

DUCK SPECIES
Argentina is one of the countries with the greatest variety of ducks, where you can find more than 13 different species. Among them, the following stand out: Rosy-billed Pochard, Fulvous Whistling Duck, White-faced Whistling Duck, Yellow-billed Pintail, White-cheeked Pintail, Red Shoveler, Brazilian Duck, Speckled Teal, Ringed Teal, Silver Teal, Cinnamon Teal, Chiloe Wigeon, and Black-headed Duck

SHOTGUNS
For bird hunting, we have new shotguns from the Benelli and Beretta brands, available in both 12 and 20 gauge. In addition to being able to attach stock extenders and customize them to your fit, we also have shotguns for left-handed shooters.
In the Benelli brand, we offer the M2 and M1 models.
In the Beretta brand, we have the A400 Xplor Kick Off model (this system reduces recoil by 70% when firing the shotgun).

LICENSE
Hunting permits are managed by Rancho Salvaje Safari. Once the hunt begins, each hunter will be provided with a permit and license that will allow them to hunt different species and animals in various provinces.
