Guide and Hunting Area
Duck hunting in the morning and afternoon takes place in both lakes and rivers, with high stands. Each of these locations will have a strategically placed blind, surrounded by lush vegetation and elevated above the water, providing you with a solid platform for precise shots. An experienced guide will set up fixed and mobile decoys strategically, avoiding sun glare and creating two groups of imitations, while leaving a clear central space for ducks to land in the perfect area for your shot.
Transportation to these areas can be done on foot, by boat, or on an ATV. You will always have a hunting guide who will carry all the hunting gear. Your guide will provide constant assistance and help you identify ducks as they start to approach.

Duck Species

Season
The duck hunting season in Argentina begins in May, coinciding with the arrival of the first cold winds of the year, and extends until August.
Throughout these months, duck hunting is balanced, although the presence of different species may vary depending on the month. Depending on the time of year, hunters may observe a greater number of ducks from one species than another.
Shotguns
For bird hunting, we have new shotguns from the Benelli and Beretta brands, available in both 12 and 20 gauge. In addition to being able to attach stock extenders and customize them to your fit, we also have shotguns for left-handed shooters.
In the Benelli brand, we offer the M2 and M1 models.
In the Beretta brand, we have the A400 Xplor Kick Off model (this system reduces recoil by 70% when firing the shotgun).

License
Hunting permits are managed by Rancho Salvaje Safari. Once the hunt begins, each hunter will be provided with a permit and license that will allow them to hunt different species and animals in various provinces.
